Sometimes even Michelin star chefs need little shortcuts in perfecting their cooking. And Irish maestro Kevin Thornton is the first to admit that a few
handy appliances can make all the difference. The world-renowned chef was on hand at the launch of De Dietrich’s brand new range with a cooking
demonstration last month, the first event of its kind.
De Dietrich guests in attendance not only witnessed Kevin demonstrate quick, simple and stress free meals using the De Dietrich appliances, they also received
expert tips and tricks on how to recreate the culinary gems at home. Members of the Irish press, bloggers and customers of the brand watched in awe
as the cook extraordinaire showed off his talents.
De Dietrich guests also enjoyed Prosecco, a range of canapes and succulent scallops, cooked by Kevin himself. Kevin said a chef is as only as good as the
tools and praised the appliances. ‘The De Dietrich ovens are a pleasure to use,’ he said. ‘I particularly love the recipes feature as their accuracy
is excellent. You can set the oven and let it do its work safe in the knowledge the dish will be perfectly cooked.’
The new collection offers a variety of hobs, microwaves, extractor fans, dishwashers, washing machines, fridge freezers and the Built-In Multifunction
Pyrolytic Oven which was recently awarded the Red Dot Award for Product Design. From its signature ‘Connaisseur Cooking System’ that automatically
determines the ideal cooking mode, temperature and duration, to state of the art horiZone induction hobs, De Dietrich combines performance, innovations
and elegance to guarantee perfection in all its kitchen appliances. Their new collection is available in Absolute Black, Platinum, Pure White and Iron
